City of Peoria Municipal Fleet Maintenance Facility

Date of Completion: April 2026

Project Description

The City of Peoria Municipal Fleet Maintenance Facility is a large-scale, fully equipped service center designed to support the ongoing maintenance of a diverse municipal fleet, ranging from golf carts to full-size refuse collection trucks and other heavy equipment. The project included the installation of multiple vehicle lifts, along with integrated lubrication, compressed air, and exhaust systems to support safe and efficient operations.

The facility features a range of specialized service areas, including heavy-duty service bays and a heavy-duty drive-thru, as well as dedicated light-duty, alignment, ADAS, and quick service bays to accommodate a variety of maintenance needs. Additional shop areas include a tire shop, welding and fabrication shop, and a component cleaning area, supporting more specialized repair and service functions.

Doehrman also supplied and installed a full suite of shop equipment, including drill presses, hydraulic presses, industrial grinders, and fall protection and hoisting systems. Storage solutions including racks, cabinetry, and workstations, were also installed to deliver a complete and fully integrated facility tailored to the City of Peoria’s operational needs.
